The Official Screening Of Burgundy Voices!
Come one, come all!
This event will be the official screening of the documentary “Burgundy Voices”. We have worked tirelessly to bring to you a film that gets to the heart of Little Burgundy and we could not have done it without the help of the community and many others!
Please come out and show support for this wonderful demonstration of stories, history and dreams!
Thank you!
Hi everyone,
We’d like to thank everyone who contributed to the project for their generosity, talent and positive energy. This was an amazing and meaningful experience for all of us, and we hope you felt the same. We also discovered exceptionally talented individuals during the process, and hope you continue to pursue your passion in the future!
Copies of the DVD are available in limited numbers at DESTA, 1950 St-Antoine West. Due to the cost of printing DVD’s, we are asking for a small donation (that will go directly toward printing more DVDs) although it is by no means required.
Again, thank you for everything, and feel free to email us at burgz.doc@gmail.com should you have any questions about the project!
Cheers,
Imaan, Meg and Charly
Burgundy Voices: Advanced Screening

Hey everyone,
The project is wrapping up this week. Here’s what the schedule looks like:
On Tuesday (tomorrow), we’re doing a preliminary screening of Burgundy Voices – this is your opportunity to comment, voice your questions and/or concerns about the project so far, so we can make the necessary changes before the final screening. This preliminary screening will take place at 6PM @ DESTA, 1950 St-Antoine West. Snacks and refreshments will be served, of course. You can join the event on facebook.
The OFFICIAL screening of Burgundy Voices will take place on Thursday June 16th at 6PM @ 1950 St-Antoine West. Mark the date, and spread the word! The documentary will be bilingual, with subtitles all along, and refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited!
Also, as you can imagine, we’ll be in the TVMcGill office editing for the next couple of days so if you or anyone you know is interested in how a documentary is made, feel free to join us!
If you have any questions, email burgz.doc@gmail.com.
Cheers,
The Team

Coming next week: Editing Workshops
Hello All!
We’re happy to announce that starting Monday, June 6th we will be editing all of our footage from interviews, events, workshops, graduations, performances, and neighborhood tours. If you want to learn how to edit (and we sincerely hope that you do!) now is your chance. All week we will be offering open editing workshops from 4-7 in the TVMcGill office, located at 3600 rue McTavish, suite B23. As usual, there will be snacks and refreshments!
Spread the word, and please be sure to come by. If you would like to organize a workshop outside of those times or with a separate group, let us know and we can make the arrangements.
Hope to see you there!
